The steak was a standout perfectly cooked, rich in texture, and paired seamlessly with the wine selection. Attentive staff, refined ambience, and creative flavour combinations made this a memorable evening. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a world‑class Sydney tasting menu and premium wine pairing experience do note the price is on the higher end.

​A celebratory dinner: fancy, by the water, with a view. A taste-bud experience worth every dollar. ​The food and cocktail list were the absolute standouts of this experience. ​We started with our favorites—oysters, scallops, snapper, octopus, and king prawns—but we declare, by the food gods, that what followed our entrées was melt-in-your-mouth, check-your-pulse, out-of-this-world perfection: the Moreton Bay Bug Spaghettini and the Ranger Valley Scotch fillet w) cos salad, chat potatoes and a bordeaux butter! AMAZING ​Cocktails these days can be so outside the box that you wonder if they are even drinks anymore—but not this list! Enjoy a couple... we did. Our cocktails were fresh, tasty, and served with thought: the right glass, the right ice, and the right garnish. ​From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and warmth. All the staff on shift that we engaged with shared knowledgeable information and recommendations about the food, wine, and even the surrounding Sydney Harbour area for a post-dinner drink. Their recommendations did not disappoint. ​You can see for yourself the amazing views this harbor gem has to offer. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere reflects that exceptional view, as it is beautifully presented with quality furnishings. ​+ Warm, fresh sourdough bread with assorted butters, and still or sparkling water on the table after being seated, with no surprise charges on the bill at the end. ​+ ​+ The wine list and prices offer something for most diners. ​- Parking is almost impossible. ​- Very minimal spirit list (Tequila options: nil). ​- The vegan and vegetarian options were, let's just say, not great. Ohhh we'll be back . . . .

Food was amazing. I can’t stop talking about it. You can taste the freshness from each dish. The black cod was the best fish dish I’ve ever had. Matching it with the king prawns as a started was a great suggestion. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the scallops were divine. They allowed the flavours from the freshness of the seafood to come through without being overpowered by sauces or over seasoning. The staff were amazing. Very accomodating and great to talk too.

It was a romantic spot by the ocean. The food was amazing, and the manager took great care of us with both the service and the recommendations. The chairs were a bit soft for dining but cosy for drinks. The night cityscape from our table definitely added to the date-night vibe. The snapper was very good, and the portion was perfect. I’d definitely visit again for lunch.

The food and views at Sails are absolutely amazing, just as stunning as in the photos! But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. A huge thank you to Angus and the team, who went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. I came in a day earlier to ask about getting a nice table, and Angus made sure we had the best spot in the house, along with a few thoughtful surprises as a congratulations gift from the team. These small but meaningful touches made a lasting impression on us. Sails will forever be our special place, and we’ll be coming back every year to celebrate our day.

It was a lovely experience. Initially we wanted three courses. However, we couldn’t finished our second course, so we only had two courses. I really wanted to try the dessert:( There is a bit of wait time. We waited for about 45m to start with the oyster. Then another 20-30m for the first course. We also had the baked cauliflower, which was creamy and nice. The view was amazing. You can see the harbour bridge and Luna park. We requested window seats when booking, and we were able to get one.

Delicious food, cocktail and fabulous view. Watermelon salad is surprisingly good, starter must have king prawn, pork cutlet and Thai basil spaghetti is good too. Staffs friendly and nice, they recommended the best dishes for me.

Great restaurant!! We caught the ferry and it arrives literally meters from the door of the restaurant; super amazing atmosphere and view of the water is beautiful. Service was amazing (shout out to Zoe who was very kind and helpful in explaining the meal). Food was amazing too!!
